Webco Inc,
celebrated its 20-year anniversary this year. Webco was
founded in 1988 in Janesville where it quickly became known for
its home design and quality reputation. Webco is proud to
have been a supporter of the local community for the past 20
years!

SCWBA STUDENT BUILD
HOME UPDATE
  Students
from both Craig and Parker High School
are now trimming out the inside of the student
build house at 3301 North Wright Road in
Janesville. The Webco crew
are working side by side with the
students teaching them along the way along with
instructor, Joe Kruser. The house is on schedule,
and will be completed in May before the
end of the school year. An Open House is planned
the afternoon of May 27, just prior to the May
General Membership Meeting at the Holiday Inn
Express. So mark your calendar and plan
on attending to congratulate the kids on a job
well done!

SCWBA STUDENT BUILD
HOME UPDATE
The students
in the advanced construction classes at Craig and Parker High
School continue to be hard at work at their
outdoor classroom at 3301 N. Wright Road
in Janesville. Vinyl siding is currently being installed, the
windows and doors are in, and they are
anxious to be done with the outside work so they can start
working on the inside of the house, and get out of the cold
weather. Students, along with their
teacher Joe Kruser, and general contractor Tim Weber are
closely working together. The students are excited about the
progress and all the work they have
accomplished. They will have opportunities
to do some upgraded finish work in this
house that they have not had in the past.
Response and
support continues to be positive from SCWBA members. We are
proud of the job the students are doing!
Look for a picture of the home with some of the
students on the cover of the 2008 SCWBA Membership
Directory. It will be ready to distribute at the 2008 Home Show.

The SCWBA Student
Build Home has officially begun and the groundbreaking took
place in early September. Shown in the photo is General
Contractor Tim Weber of Webco, students Joe Reinke and Danielle
Pakes (both of Parker HS), Advanced Construction teacher Joe
Kruser, and Carol Engebretson of SCWBA. The kids are on-site and
hard at work every school day til the home is complete in May
2008. At the end of the school year, the house will be sold,
with proceeds to fund future builds, as well as future
activities of the SCWBA Student Chapters.
